For half a decade, Basel Adra, a Palestinian activist, films his community of Masafer Yatta being destroyed by Israel’s occupation, as he builds an unlikely alliance with an Israeli journalist who wants to join his fight. This award-winning film (‘essential viewing’, The Guardian), by a Palestinian-Israeli collective of four young activists, was co-created during the darkest, most terrifying times in the region, as an act of creative resistance to Apartheid and a search for a path towards equality and justice.

The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex provides an oil-saturated bedrock to a conversation focused on eco grief, land rights and climate change. Borne out of a collaboration between the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT), Fort Worth Contemporary Arts and the Department of Psychology at Texas Christian University; the artists film posits extinct plant species against images of a 210-acre indigenous prairie remnant whilst questioning our collective actions in the face of catastrophic changes to the ecosystem that support us.
