£5.00 – £7.50Are you interested in making electronic experimental music and want to take it further? Do you have an interest in experimental music or want to expand your current audio knowledge and abilities?
The workshops will cover experimental sound, field recording and some topical information on the genre. We will help you getting started taking your first steps in creating experimental sounds and we will look at DIY instruments and mic building techniques. These workshops are suitable for complete beginners or experienced musicians.
You will be able to get a better understanding of modular synthesisers and immersive audio techniques as well as meeting other like minded individuals and help grow a community of local experimental audio artists.

DIY instruments – In this session we’ll make some noise with our own self built DIY instruments using found items, this session builds on the previous noisebox session by using wire, old guitar strings, etc. to make something a little more musical! -
21st September
Intro to MIDI – Want to automate your sessions but get lost with the ins and outs. This session will gently guide you through demonstrating useful uses of MIDI control, how to set up MIDI routing on the iPad using AUM, bluetooth midi and usb midi and more! -
