Introduction: Welcome to our 5-week Advanced Digital Illustration Workshops using Procreate! This comprehensive program is designed for individuals who already have a solid foundation in digital illustration and want to take their skills to the next level using the powerful Procreate app. Through a series of engaging workshops, participants will explore advanced techniques, refine their artistic style, and create stunning digital illustrations.

Workshop Objectives:

1. Master Advanced Procreate Tools: Participants will learn advanced features and tools within the Procreate app, including custom brushes, layer management, blend modes, and advanced selection techniques.
2. Develop Advanced Illustration Techniques: The workshops will focus on advanced illustration techniques such as digital painting, texture creation, dynamic shading and lighting, and realistic rendering.
3. Explore Composition and Colour Theory: Participants will delve into the principles of composition and learn how to effectively use colour theory to create visually striking and harmonious illustrations.

Delivery Format:

The Workshops will be conducted through practical in-person sessions that will be delivered from the Refractive Hub. In addition to this Participants will have access to a dedicated learning platform where they can access workshop materials, engage in discussions and submit their work for feedback.

Live Q&A sessions will also be held to address any questions or concerns.

Target Audience: The workshops are suitable for intermediate to advanced digital illustrators who are already familiar with the Procreate app and want to further refine their skills. Multi- faceted and multi-skilled, Indie McCue resides in Paisley, Renfrewshire bringing with them a multitude of creative skills; from arts production, creative project management, facilitation, community arts engagement and outreach. However, first and foremost Indie is a practicing creative, driven by process, passion for community and collaborative creation.

Indie McCue is a multidisciplinary creative, never limited by any one medium they seek to explore the contextual realms of sociopolitical charades. Since the conception of their creative career, Indie has played with the external narratives of existing out with the mould and the predispositions that accompany such an existence.

In recent years the creative outputs Indie has produced have taken on more digital mediums such as graphic design, 3D modelling, experimental film, animation and game design; This is in response to the lack of space available for creatives to produce work in. Their work is not confined to any one physical manifestation but instead holds each form as equal in conjunction with their current conceptual focal point.
