Call for Entries: Artist Commission for Refractive Collective’s March 2025 Exhibition in Paisley
Towards the end of March (exact date TBC), Refractive Collective will present an exhibition in the heart of Paisley, bringing art to the town’s centre and main street. As part of this exhibition, there will be a projection-mapped installation on one or more of the town’s prominent buildings, alongside a digital gallery space. This will mark the conclusion of Jamie Wardrop’s residency with the Collective, where he has been exploring the ideas around climate crisis, ecology, and community through film, 3D, and generative visualisations as it relates to the town and wider Renfrewshire.
We are offering 3 paid commissions of £1000 to artists to create new work that will be presented at this event. The selected artist will collaborate with Jamie Wardrop, who will provide mentorship in both technical and design aspects to help bring the project to life.
