Jack Archer :
Jack Archer is a documentary film maker with a particular interest in human ecology.
His latest film, Sailm nan Daoine (Psalms of the People), follows musician Rob MacNeacail on a road trip across Scotland and Ireland, tracing his passion for Gaelic psalm singing and the deep roots of his culture. Before that, Bill Douglas: My Best Friend premiered at the Venice Film Festival and told the story of the extraordinary friendship between iconic director Bill Douglas and his lifelong companion, Peter Jewel.
Jack’s first film, Bothy Life, was about people maintaining communal huts in the wild reaches of the mountains and Village of Dreams was about a community that cares for adults with support needs as part of the Camphill Network which can now be found all over the world.
Jack believes that the barriers between the natural and cultural worlds are very thin and uses this as an excuse to film birds, trees and musicians. He’s inspired by writers like Olga Tokarczuk and Neil Gunn and his favourite films are probably Days of Heaven and Sleep Furiously.
Indie McCue
Indie is an experimental multimedia artists working in animation and digital drawing.
Indie’s work is dedicated to showcasing the intricate narratives of life through contemporary art. The work embodies the fusion of historical influences and modern techniques, ensuring that each piece is a unique reflection of the human experience
