Join Refractive for a screening of the unique drama-documentary hybrid film Ramona by director Victoria Linares Villegas. The screening will take place on Saturday 25th of October at The Wynd Centre Paisley, 7pm (doors from 6.30pm).

In preparation for the role of pregnant teenager Ramona, a young actress embarks on a series of candid interviews with women about their experiences of pregnancy and motherhood.

A dance artist befriends a group of elderly women and discovers the transformative power of social dance and movement in combating loneliness and isolation while confronting the difficult realities of aging and mortality. This work was commissioned by Govanhill Baths Culture Collective.
Content Warning: Teenage pregnancy, brief discussion of: domestic violence, rape, and alcohol abuse.
