DESCRIPTION:Join Refractive for an evening with Artist\, Animator and Director Daniel Gough as part of the Paisley Docs: Rebels and Innovators programme. The Artist Meet up will take place on Saturday 20th of December at the Refractive Hub\, 7-9.30pm.  \nWe are delighted to welcome Daniel Gough\, a talented Artist and Director\, to be the guest speaker at our next Artist Meet Up. Daniel will be chatting about his experience of using animation in documentary filmmaking\, and his experience of getting his first feature length documentary completed. The evening is part of the Paisley Docs: Rebels and Innovators programme\, and will be an opportunity to meet with other artists working in Renfrewshire\, and of course enjoy some light refreshments too! \nDaniel Gough is a Welsh born Artist & Director based in Edinburgh work specializes in creative\, deeply personal storytelling as a means to explore difficult and sensitive subjects. His first documentary short ‘The Waiting Room’ was picked up by Sonja Henrici creates and is now in active development as a hybrid animation/documentary feature film named ‘Night Gardener’ where a doctor’s son tries to put his father & his broken heart back together again by re-animating the strange but very real fairy tales he would tell him as a child. Directed by the duo\, POWER STATION charts their turbulent journey\, from pitching the idea to their neighbours and sleeping on the roof of their home to raising finance and launching a bid for a Christmas number one single.
