The film screening will take place on Friday 7th February at The Wynd Centre.\n\n  \nThe evening will also include a screening of Yours\, in Extraction (2023)\, a short film by Robyn Woolston. \n\n  \nDoors open 7pm\, screening starts at 7.30pm. Refreshments will be available to purchase although you are also welcome to bring your own snacks. \n\n  \nNo Other Land – documentary – 15 \nDir. Yuval Abraham\, Basel Adra\, Hamdan Ballal and Rachel Szor \n2024 – 96 mins – Palestine\, Norway – Language: English\, Arabic\, Hebrew\, with English subtitles \n  \nFor half a decade\, Basel Adra\, a Palestinian activist\, films his community of Masafer Yatta being destroyed by Israel’s occupation\, as he builds an unlikely alliance with an Israeli journalist who wants to join his fight. Borne out of a collaboration between the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT)\, Fort Worth Contemporary Arts and the Department of Psychology at Texas Christian University; the artists film posits extinct plant species against images of a 210-acre indigenous prairie remnant whilst questioning our collective actions in the face of catastrophic changes to the ecosystem that support us. \n\n\n  \n  \nWe have created a ticket system which allows attendees to pay according to their means and financial situation.
